We're a tiny niche in the Madden community. I also understand EA is a business and they aren't going to upgrade the PC version if there is no net gain for them. I'd love to have the next gen game on PC, my rig would run it significantly better than my series S does. The most logical conclusion is that the PC crowd is too small and/or their hardware analytics show putting the resources to the PC version to upgrade it is not worth it. If it would make them more money to upgrade the PC version, they'd put the resources to it. What's more believable? EA has sales data and hardware data that shows them the PC version isn't the route to go, or EA is simply refusing to upgrade the PC version to stick it to the PC crowd?Ĭome on guys, if the PC crowd was big enough and had rigs on average that were capable enough, EA would upgrade the game. People on those 1000 series cards can easily play the games at 1080p that the consoles do at 4k.Īnd even if you have to lower the settings series 10 cards will be able to play games for years to come. That honestly doesn't matter anymore with the push for 4k on consoles.
